In Episode 1, our journey through the Ministry of Jesus explores the events that occurred from Jesus' baptism in the Jordan River, to His calling the disciples by the Sea of Galilee, to His famous conversations with Nicodemus in Jerusalem and the woman at the well in Samaria. We'll discover why Jesus left His hometown of Nazareth and relocated at Capernaum. Our challenge: How can we make the most of the one life we're given?
EPISODE 2 – Coming in 2 Days!
In Episode 2, our journey through the Ministry of Jesus continues as we see where He gave His Sermon on the Mount. We journey to Capernaum for the most pivotal day in Jesus' ministry, including His teaching in parables. We'll see the Plain of Bethsaida where Jesus fed thousands with a few fish and loaves and then immediately stilled a raging storm on the Sea of Galilee. Our challenge: How can we live our lives in such impossible conditions?
EPISODE 3 – Coming in 4 days!
In Episode 3, our journey through the Ministry of Jesus follows the Lord off the grid as He trains His disciples in Bethsaida and in the far north region of Caesarea Philippi. Then He gives them much needed encouragement at Mount Hermon. Finally Jesus journeys south to Jericho where His healing of a blind man offers us some profound insight, especially as Jesus ascends to Jerusalem for the last time. Our challenge: What do we really want from God?
About Dr. Wayne Stiles
Wayne Stiles has served in fulltime Christian ministry for 30 years, effectively using writing, teaching, music, video, and leadership as the means of creatively communicating the life-changing truths of God’s Word.
A veteran traveler to Israel, he has taught and written extensively on the devotional benefits of the Holy Land on his popular blog, in his books, as well as in dozens of articles for the Jerusalem Post. Wayne earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also served in the pastorate for 14 years in the church he helped to plant, and he served as an Executive Vice President at Insight for Living Ministries for 12 years.
Wayne and Cathy have helped lead many tours to numerous biblical sites in Israel, Jordan, Greece, Turkey, and Italy. They have been married 30 years and have two grown daughters.
Wayne’s passion is to help connect the Bible and its lands to life, showing the practical application of God’s Word in lives that display God’s grace.
